Nesting

This study explored the embedded logic behind bird nests. Through investigating their materials, compositions and interactions between elements, an algorithm was developed to generate structures based on variations of nesting principles. The algorithm takes into consideration the following aspects:
1. Types of elements
2. Percentage of each element
3. Types of interactions (stacking or interlocking)
4. The probability of an interaction to occur
