This series of terra cotta planters were designed during AA Visiting School - Toronto. They feature a double-wall system with apertures, which allow plants to emerge from them when they bloom. Mini-orchids will be planted for the exterior surface, and blue mushrooms will be planted for the interior surface. This offers two different visual experiences for the viewers.  The 3D forms were parametrically constructed and the patterns were generated using image mapping method. The apertures on the exterior surface and the drapes on the interior surface were created using the clay's pliability.
